Hét éve még nem tudtam a drótszobrászat, mint műfaj létezéséről, Alexander Calderről sem sokat. A New York-i Withney Múzeumban, az artistás szobornál egy perc alatt rabbá lettem. Lenyűgözött a szellemesség, irigyeltem a létrehozás élményét.

Végre egy vonal - a drót - ami megáll a térben, enged önfeledten firkálni, és természete okán trükkös, elmés megoldásokra sarkall. Témáimat a hétköznapok megkapó figurái és jelenetei nyújtják.

Seven years ago I had no idea about wire sculpture as a genre or who Alexander Calder was. At the Whitney Museum in New York, the Acrobat sculpture enchanted me in an instant. Its wittiness impressed me and I felt envious of the experience of creation.

Finally there is a line - the wire - that can stand in space by itself and lets you draw pictures uninhibitedly. By its nature, it inspires you to come up with tricky, witty solutions.

I select my themes from charming characters and scenes of everyday life.
